After 46 played minutes Universitario got a freekick which was hit by Douglas de Mendonça. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustín Tastzian was the one to do the kick off. Roman Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 51st minute of play. After 52 played minutes Universitario got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Zambrano. After 56 played minutes Universitario got a freekick which was hit by 杜升强. Roman Diaz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Barrenta SC's Fellipe Lago shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urban Stenman got free with Roman Diaz in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nariman Mansourian succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 88th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Barrenta SC's zone, Eneto Barrachina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Trigo came out of the goal and Eneto Barrachina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Universitario supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barrenta SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Barrenta SC.
