An unexpectedly hard shot by Stan Wawrinka in the 4th minute of play forced LIVERPOOL FC's goalkeeper Qian Ying Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Federico Abud in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LIVERPOOL FC's Marius Slătineanu. Qian Ying Lang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Berset in the 8th minute of the match. Marco Odermatt was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Rada in the 16th minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liviu Rada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregor Kobel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Gregor Kobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Rada in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Rada came free, but Gregor Kobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregor Kobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Rada in the 25th minute of the match. LIVERPOOL FC's Qian Ying Lang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save LIVERPOOL FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alain Berset in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qian Ying Lang saved LIVERPOOL FC from getting behind. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind LIVERPOOL FC's goalkeeper Qian Ying Lang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Alain Berset got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Espen Steelers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LIVERPOOL FC:s goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stan Wawrinka was the one to do the kick off. Alain Berset scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qian Ying Lang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LIVERPOOL FC's Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin was substituted for Liviu Rada. 66 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin came free, but Gregor Kobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Alain Berset ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qian Ying Lang was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Espen Steelers's Rogelio Montez was substituted for Alain Berset. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Giancarlo Weissmuller replaced Ekain Menendez. LIVERPOOL FC were furious when João Pedro Marquez was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 79th minute, one of LIVERPOOL FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LIVERPOOL FC. LIVERPOOL FC:s Qian Ying Lang showed great skill when he stopped Rogelio Montez:s penalty. Qian Ying Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Montez in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Montez in the 88th minute of play forced LIVERPOOL FC's goalkeeper Qian Ying Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LIVERPOOL FC's zone, Marco Odermatt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qian Ying Lang came out of the goal and Marco Odermatt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Espen Steelers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
