FC Kukova were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Espen Steelers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gregório Pimentel took the corner. A sloppy throw-in by Zhu Zhen Lin in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Espen Steelers's Williams Imholz. In the 25th minute Alain Berset shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Behúň saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregor Kobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jozef Šagáth in the 26th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Kukova's Gong Yang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gregor Kobel. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Jozef Šagáth came free, but Gregor Kobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Berset in the 41st minute of play forced FC Kukova's goalkeeper Róbert Behúň to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbert Behúň showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Berset in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Berset in the 46th minute of play forced FC Kukova's goalkeeper Róbert Behúň to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

FC Kukova's Gregório Pimentel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gregor Kobel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Róbert Behúň made an important save on a dangerous shot by Williams Imholz in the 61st minute. Alex Ioneasa hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Espen Steelers's Rogelio Montez was substituted for Alain Berset. Espen Steelers's Giancarlo Weissmuller was substituted for Ekain Menendez. FC Kukova's Róbert Behúň played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Montez in the 79th minute of play. FC Kukova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espen Steelers the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Kukova's Zhu Zhen Lin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Rogelio Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
