Chorroarín's Leonides Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Montez in the 9th minute of play. Leonides Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Berset in the 20th minute of the match. Leonides Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stan Wawrinka in the 23rd minute of play. Guillermo Mitxaut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregor Kobel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Guillermo Mitxaut's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Gregor Kobel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leonides Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Berset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillermo Mitxaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chorroarín's Leonides Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Berset in the 36th minute of play. Alvaro Aquino kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Chorroarín getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alvaro Aquino hit a great ball. 47 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Espen Steelers's Stan Wawrinka fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Mitxaut was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Torben Krabber got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Chorroarín's Guillermo Mitxaut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregor Kobel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chorroarín made a substitution. Timoteo Arotza replaced Guillermo Mitxaut. After 66 minutes Espen Steelers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Prudencio Socorro who took care of the corner kick. Timoteo Arotza made a great header on Chorroarín's corner, it was just that Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel managed to reach the ball for a save. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Sauveur Ehrlichmann replaced Marco Odermatt. Chorroarín were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Espen Steelers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Prudencio Socorro took the corner. 71 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Arotza came free, but Gregor Kobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Williams Imholz. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Arotza, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute Nicolas Betadur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregor Kobel came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Chorroarín's Timoteo Arotza. But to his dismay, Timoteo Arotza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chorroarín fans cheered their team off the field, for while Espen Steelers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
