The audience was convinced that Ingemar Jonasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Bungeanu was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tudor Sântimbrean made a kick off. The throw-in from Marius Stolnicu in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Oakcroft Thrashers's Benigno Jerrold. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Afşin Şehzat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tudor Sântimbrean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christoffer Modig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Samet Mert came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-'s zone, Jörn Holm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Bungeanu came out of the goal and Jörn Holm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Albu came free, but Christoffer Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Oakcroft Thrashers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F.C. DIANU 76 -Stiinta-.
