Caio Ponte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stakbröte's goalkeeper Bai Jian Ao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AL TOKE FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Stakbröte's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laureano Gimenez took the corner. The corner ended in Remo Dracena almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stakbröte's Bai Jian Ao did a great save. Lars Jens hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Bai Jian Ao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stakbröte's Bai Jian Ao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ján Novák in the 71st minute of play. Aaron Buba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caio Ponte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Bai Jian Ao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Gaizkine's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Stakbröte's Tage Eklund was substituted for Sverker Hydén. After a rather tough play, Stakbröte's Lars Jens got a free kick in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Gimenez got free with Bai Jian Ao in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AL TOKE FC's Ján Novák was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tage Eklund struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Caio Ponte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stakbröte. If Tage Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Tage Eklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caio Ponte was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
