Michel Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Michel Čech didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Pasqual went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the game, CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel Čech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Cipriano Pasqual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Michel Čech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Esquirla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Pasqual came free, but Michel Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CAI NEUQUEN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raul Heriberto in the 31st minute. After 31 minutes, Lee-Paul Ramon made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Esquirla FC's Michel Čech tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlo Arruta in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlo Arruta in the 38th minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Ermegildo Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, Esquirla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristen Lijsens to maneuver through the defense. CAI NEUQUEN's Lee-Paul Ramon got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of CAI NEUQUEN booed when Esquirla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristen Lijsens didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Pasqual to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lee-Paul Ramon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Čech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arlo Arruta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ermegildo Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Specht in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Michel Čech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Cipriano Pasqual ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Čech was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 93rd minute, Esquirla FC's Tim Van Brussel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tim Van Brussel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Esquirla FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tim Van Brussel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Michel Čech, was totally fooled by CAI NEUQUEN's Raul Heriberto, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Esquirla FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CAI NEUQUEN's performance. The match ended with a win for CAI NEUQUEN.
