Robert Doicaru started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Macnelly Torres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karol Ruszkowski. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Omar Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Kosakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes Zgierskie Zlewy got a freekick which was hit by Rolf King. Karol Ruszkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolás Castillo in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Robert Doicaru notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo. Omar Duardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karol Ruszkowski. That made the score 2-1 after 18 minutes of play. Karol Ruszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Castillo in the 28th minute of the match. Zgierskie Zlewy's Karol Ruszkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Zgierskie Zlewy from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes Vancouver Reds's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Doicaru who took care of the corner kick. Robert Doicaru made a great header on Zgierskie Zlewy's corner, it was just that Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 40th minute Aureliusz Kosakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Vancouver Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Oja to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Zgierskie Zlewy got a freekick which was hit by Enginalp Kayaalp. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Doicaru in the 60th minute of play. Omar Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Doicaru in the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karol Ruszkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macnelly Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Vancouver Reds fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 87th match minute, Zgierskie Zlewy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spiridon Peychev to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Zgierskie Zlewy's Spiridon Peychev got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo got control of the ball when Barnaba Bazylnikov tried to sneak it across the goal line.
