SITIO CITY's Zé Gato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save SITIO CITY from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Pancho Branca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Gato quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SITIO CITY's Carlos Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto Marquez in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Gato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Carlos Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Maurício Bomba. AC LeX Luthor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Zé Gato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Errando in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, SITIO CITY's Zé Gato got control of the ball when Carlos Alberto Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurício Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Gierlach, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Alvaro Errando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Gato having to interfere. After the first half SITIO CITY were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Garcia was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Alberto Marquez took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Gato. Zé Gato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 59 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Errando came free, but Zé Gato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Errando took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Gato. Zé Gato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Zé Gato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Errando went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. SITIO CITY's Luís Carvalho was substituted for Carlos Garcia.
