An unexpectedly hard shot by Jared Wolfman in the 5th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilles Eekhout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepijn Hummel in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Jardel Head shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Craandijk in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilles Eekhout, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Komen Schotte got free with Gilles Eekhout in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Head in the 18th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilles Eekhout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Craandijk in the 21st minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Head came free, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Head, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Pepijn Hummel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilles Eekhout read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Gilles Eekhout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Komen Schotte in the 32nd minute of the match. AC Milan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boukjan Bunt ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Andre Genkenaar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC Milan's Gilles Eekhout did a great save. Gilles Eekhout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Craandijk's shot from short distance in the 41st minute.

Gilles Eekhout made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. FFC Merainies 03 made a substitution. Job Gasteren replaced Pepijn Hummel. 95 minutes into the match, Bruno Marceau notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of AC Milan's Gilles Eekhout. Gilles Eekhout was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that FFC Merainies 03 were the better team. FFC Merainies 03's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
