Cactos's Mario Yepes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kiliz Mauleon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bran Allison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiliz Mauleon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Trezeguet in the 21st minute of play. Bran Allison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Eudoxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustacio Ortzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Allison having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cactos's Alberigo Palomba got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cactos's zone, Fabrizio Angileri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bran Allison came out of the goal and Fabrizio Angileri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kiliz Mauleon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricki Dresager in the 36th minute of the match. Kiliz Mauleon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricki Dresager in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Ortzi in the 40th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Moscovi Ψ's Paolo-César Maldini got a free kick in the 40th minute. Bran Allison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Eudoxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Coronel Camba dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kiliz Mauleon, 1-0. With a little luck, Moscovi Ψ's Kiliz Mauleon got control of the ball when Peter Bagge tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Moscovi Ψ's Ovidio Rey was substituted for Guillermo Marz. The wind increased when Edgard Eudoxio made the kick off in the second half. Edgard Eudoxio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bran Allison having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, Edgard Eudoxio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bran Allison, 1-1. Cactos's Conrado Capixaba was substituted for Maurinho Trezeguet. Moscovi Ψ made a substitution. Edu Gol replaced Edgard Eudoxio. Cactos made a substitution. Matias Gaitan replaced Coronel Camba. Kiliz Mauleon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Capixaba in the 70th minute of play. Kiliz Mauleon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Gaitan in the 71st minute of the match. Cactos's Bran Allison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Gol in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moscovi Ψ's Kiliz Mauleon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Capixaba in the 79th minute of play. Kiliz Mauleon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Bran Allison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edu Gol's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Moscovi Ψ's zone, Conrado Capixaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiliz Mauleon came out of the goal and Conrado Capixaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisinho Maciel scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kiliz Mauleon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moscovi Ψ's Karahan Cansoy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Senne Coosemans, made in the 90th minute of the game. Luisinho Maciel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Moscovi Ψ's Kiliz Mauleon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Capixaba in the 96th minute of play. Moscovi Ψ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
