Spectators: 8040 (Terracing: 6031, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Carneiro started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Ema City defense, Rene Rostholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartosz Trzenzalski. The Ema City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartosz Trzenzalski should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute, Corvin Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute of the match Randers A.F.C. got a corner. Ema City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodrigo Tome ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Randers A.F.C.'s Benjamin Vollmaris to a score. 0-2 in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ema City's zone, Rene Rostholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartosz Trzenzalski came out of the goal and Rene Rostholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Randers A.F.C.'s Nichlas Vesterdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Rybak in the 23rd minute of play. After 31 minutes Randers A.F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Selçuk Özgebay who took care of the corner kick. Arthur Shelby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Ema City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Randers A.F.C. were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Rostholm made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s Rene Rostholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartosz Trzenzalski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nichlas Vesterdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radim Gola hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Randers A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Vollmaris to maneuver through the defense. José Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichlas Vesterdahl having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Leonardo Byström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ema City booed when Randers A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Byström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Randers A.F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
