The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Curumalán AFC's Daniel Resende was substituted for Juan Guerrero. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esequiel Barco made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esequiel Barco in the 52nd minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Barciniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Mikelats. Lin Mo Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koti Kot in the 56th minute of play. Lin Mo Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Resel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Curumalán AFC's Lin Mo Hong got control of the ball when Kudret Tüzer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Curumalán AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Koti Kot scored to the left of an out of position Lin Mo Hong, making the score, 0-1. Curumalán AFC made a substitution. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
