The corner was taken by Edmílson Arantes in the 24th minute. Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esequiel Barco in the 27th minute of play. When Curumalán AFC's Esequiel Barco in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Miau Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdulkadir Eraslan should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emmanuel Gigliotti to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Ferman came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lin Mo Hong saved Curumalán AFC from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Ronaldo Fenomeno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lin Mo Hong was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 63 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's Doriva Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lin Mo Hong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Pedro Lucas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lin Mo Hong quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Curumalán AFC's Lin Mo Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan got control of the ball when Efrain Ferman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abdulkadir Eraslan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esequiel Barco in the 72nd minute. Ronaldo Fenomeno struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Lin Mo Hong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miau Stars. Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Miau Stars from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Fenomeno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lin Mo Hong was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 83 minutes of play, Miau Stars's Flavinho Sousa made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Curumalán AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
