Spectators: 8139 (Terracing: 6105, Seating: 1872, VIP seats: 162) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristoforo Volpe kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Porta during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Squadra de Pippe's Fan Xi Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boruc Gongolewicz. In the 11th minute, Guido Vissenaeken made a precise shot to the right of Fan Xi Hong. Squadra de Pippe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Laurențiu Roşculeţ's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fan Xi Hong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Squadra de Pippe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Porta to maneuver through the defense. Guido Vissenaeken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Vissenaeken came free, but Fan Xi Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo Volpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lukasz Rukszcz scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Baia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th match minute, Squadra de Pippe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Porta to maneuver through the defense. Guido Vissenaeken took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fan Xi Hong. Fan Xi Hong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Fan Xi Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Vítor Baia came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Squadra de Pippe's Lukasz Rukszcz. But to his dismay, Lukasz Rukszcz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to Squadra de Pippe getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Emilio Porta hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, Squadra de Pippe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Porta to maneuver through the defense. Fan Xi Hong was a little too slow when Arnauld Van Impe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 80th minute, Ümit Karan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Emilio Porta in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brugge United's Laurențiu Roşculeţ. Lukasz Rukszcz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Sandro Gaúcho got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the match was over Brugge United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Squadra de Pippe throughout the match.
