The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Fagerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, AFTER GYM FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Ovidiu Acatincăi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigvard Biörnberg in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Acatincăi saved AFTER GYM FC from getting behind. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFTER GYM FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ovidiu Acatincăi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Magne Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Prudencio Bilbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rönnöfors FF made a substitution. Isaac Apelquist replaced Dag Spets. AFTER GYM FC's attentive Fiori Mandrak managed to snatch the ball when Edwin Ahlstedt made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Rönnöfors FF's Per Tunström got a free kick in the 80th minute. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Rutkowski in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match, Robert Rutkowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Magne Gunnarsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 89 minutes into the game, Sten Hökqvist threw the ball into play from the sideline. AFTER GYM FC's Fiori Mandrak quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. AFTER GYM FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
