Elias Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Masker in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tachito's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Masker came free, but Elias Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Belmiro Arruda had to leave the field with a concussion. After 19 minutes, Sotiris Alexandropoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lemel SV and the Deportivo Tachito players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Deportivo Tachito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Selatse should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute Ettore Petroni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lemel SV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Tachito had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
