In the 20th minute, Nickolai Nickerson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by İldeniz Turatekin in the 22nd minute of play forced Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goalkeeper Eric Soned to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domagoj Vida made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Natalio Martino. Eric Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tore-Andre Flo in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Eric Soned made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Emanuel Mateescu sent off a good shot on target. 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™ were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pat Lloret took the corner. The corner ended in Pat Lloret almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned did a great save.
