Kazimierz Gaszynski ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Kajetan Dec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mieszko Borkowski. Edílson Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kajetan Dec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Fifth Chicken were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Zawisza Bydgoszcz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mieszko Borkowski took the corner. The corner led Fifth Chicken's Mieszko Borkowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Kajetan Dec despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orestas Ancikas in the 32nd minute of play forced Fifth Chicken's goalkeeper Dobri Koks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Edílson Souza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kajetan Dec, 1-1. Kajetan Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edílson Souza in the 36th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Mieszko Borkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fifth Chicken and the Zawisza Bydgoszcz players grew even worse after the yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Dobri Koks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Halisdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mieszko Borkowski in the 53rd minute of play. Ömer Halisdemir took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dobri Koks. Dobri Koks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 57th minute Edílson Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Dec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dobri Koks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 59th minute of the match. Dobri Koks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Klawke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edílson Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fifth Chicken made a substitution. Krzysztof Dziewedik replaced Kazimierz Sliwinski. 71 minutes into the match, Fifth Chicken's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Halisdemir came free, but Dobri Koks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes in the game Dominik Loncki did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Waldemar Tipinski. The audience was convinced that Ömer Halisdemir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dobri Koks was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
