Ömer Halisdemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Dumitru Doloman made a huge save. In the 12th minute of the match Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a corner. Viola Invest's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karl-Åke Lindström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Viola Invest from getting a goal against them. With his leg Dumitru Doloman managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Sebastian Klawke fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Ömer Halisdemir came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ömer Halisdemir couldn't finish the play. Ömer Halisdemir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Dumitru Doloman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Ömer Halisdemir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dumitru Doloman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ömer Halisdemir made a kick off. Kajetan Dec was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stig-Åke Gabrielsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 53 minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Klawke came free, but Dumitru Doloman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Jakobe got free with Kajetan Dec in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 67th minute of the match. Kajetan Dec made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mario Jakobe sent off a good shot on target. Dumitru Doloman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 70th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Kajetan Dec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Jakobe. In the 83rd minute of the match, Stig-Åke Gabrielsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kajetan Dec saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 97th minute, Stanislaw Marchewka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
