When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Nickolai Nickerson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Enzo De Nicola. A collision led to AC Roma getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Leão hit a great ball. The score was now 1-1. With a little luck, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned got control of the ball when Alvaro Sforza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Paulo Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Paulo Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 41 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goalkeeper Eric Soned had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Della Francesca. Fabrício Rivarola kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 minutes, 徐帆海 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Roma and the Étoile Sportive Du Sahel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Étoile Sportive Du Sahel booed when AC Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. 徐帆海 didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Sforza made a kick off. Enzo De Nicola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nickolai Nickerson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Sforza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Soned read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Enzo De Nicola made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Nickolai Nickerson sent off a good shot on target. Nickolai Nickerson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Enzo De Nicola when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Enzo De Nicola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Ancelotti in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
