The Gavião Kyikatejê fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colin Booth should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Flamengo's Qiao Nan Wen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Colin Booth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Gregor Nelson struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. August Hjortberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gavião Kyikatejê. Qiao Nan Wen might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Colin Booth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Colin Booth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Qiao Nan Wen went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the match, Qiao Nan Wen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Colin Booth, 5-0. Qiao Nan Wen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 6-0 in the 24th playminute. Colin Booth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig-Arne Ekerot went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Innes McWalter hit a great ball. Qiao Nan Wen scored 8-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Colin Booth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolae Dobrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Colin Booth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Qiao Nan Wen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Colin Booth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qiao Nan Wen. Qiao Nan Wen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Colin Booth having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Arne Ekerot got free with Colin Booth in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Flamengo's Qiao Nan Wen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colin Booth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Innes McWalter fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gavião Kyikatejê's protests and gave Innes McWalter a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Innes McWalter got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Qiao Nan Wen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 67thth minute of the game Kasper Bivall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gavião Kyikatejê's Colin Booth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kasper Bivall took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Colin Booth. Colin Booth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0.
