Colin Booth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lenny Winnepennincks went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 5 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Lloyd McCodrum. When Ozan Heybetli came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the FC Hammarby Sjöstad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ozan Heybetli couldn't finish the play. Ozan Heybetli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ozan Heybetli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Colin Booth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the Gavião Kyikatejê defense, Ozan Heybetli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Colin Booth. The Gavião Kyikatejê fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Colin Booth should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Ozan Heybetli came free, but Colin Booth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Gustav Sigfridsson to a score. 0-3 in the 20th minute. If Ozan Heybetli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Ozan Heybetli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Colin Booth was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After 32 played minutes FC Hammarby Sjöstad got a freekick which was hit by Sarracino De la Rosa. Colin Booth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozan Heybetli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colin Booth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ozan Heybetli in the 36th minute of play. Lenny Winnepennincks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Ozan Heybetli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Hammarby Sjöstad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 41 minutes into the game, Artur Wichniarek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gavião Kyikatejê the free kick. The supporters of Gavião Kyikatejê booed when FC Hammarby Sjöstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Wichniarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jordan Robison hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ozan Heybetli to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Colin Booth threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ozan Heybetli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th minute, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Colin Booth. Colin Booth yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. 62 minutes into the game, Lenny Winnepennincks recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Colin Booth. Lenny Winnepennincks showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Colin Booth. That made the score 0-9 after 65 minutes of play. FC Hammarby Sjöstad made a substitution. Greger von Opel replaced Rafail Klenov. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Sverker Byström was substituted for Sarracino De la Rosa. FC Hammarby Sjöstad made a substitution. Staffan Arenius replaced Ciriaco Terciero. After 69 played minutes Lenny Winnepennincks rounded Gavião Kyikatejê's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-10. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Hannes Kempenaerts managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lloyd McCodrum in the 73 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ozan Heybetli in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colin Booth saved Gavião Kyikatejê from getting behind. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Leon Ferfecki got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Ozan Heybetli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Colin Booth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colin Booth stood somewhat misplaced when Ozan Heybetli came free in front of goal and shot 0-12 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Ozan Heybetli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Colin Booth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Colin Booth. Colin Booth yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Hannes Kempenaerts quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lloyd McCodrum, made in the 92nd minute of the game. Ozan Heybetli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Gavião Kyikatejê fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Hammarby Sjöstad were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
