The Rega Merida CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erol Suer should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Nistor Sârban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samir Afacan. San Mauro A Mare FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nistor Sârban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Levent Hicran scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erol Suer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samir Afacan was a little too slow when Nistor Sârban got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-2. A sloppy throw-in by Fan Liang Chong in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rega Merida CF's Elpidio Umbruso. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nistor Sârban in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samir Afacan saved San Mauro A Mare FC from getting behind. In the 33rdth minute of the game Nistor Sârban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Mauro A Mare FC's Samir Afacan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lukasz Oryl lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Erol Suer had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Fan Liang Chong's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Levent Hicran kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

In the 51st match minute, San Mauro A Mare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Cremonese to maneuver through the defense. Erol Suer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levent Hicran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levent Hicran in the 63rd minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Erol Suer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Mauro A Mare FC's goalkeeper Samir Afacan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Levent Hicran scored 2-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erol Suer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. San Mauro A Mare FC's Augusto Riso was substituted for Augusto Graziani. Rega Merida CF's Damazy Warka was substituted for Abdulhamit Beycan. In the 81st minute, Konrad Knopek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Orsi in the 91st minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Erol Suer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Bento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erol Suer having to interfere. If Augusto Riso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Mauro A Mare FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
