Hendrik-Jan Krommert was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Nick Heesen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nick Heesen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Georg Hagberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carolo Stephen went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ágætis Byrjun's Gregorio Urtsin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anthon Odén, made in the 37th minute of the game. Hendrik-Jan Krommert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nick Heesen in the 38th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nick Heesen made a kick off. When Isaltino Barral fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♦Diabetes♦'s protests and gave Isaltino Barral a yellow card for diving instead.
