A sloppy throw-in by Isaltino Barral in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Stoyadin Gulev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Stephen in the 25th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hendrik-Jan Krommert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 33rd minute of the match. Hendrik-Jan Krommert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 37th minute of play. Carolo Stephen scored 1-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amauri Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Jens-Ove Malm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carolo Stephen to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hendrik-Jan Krommert narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
