Vc Brye's Henri-Patrick De Mare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albérico Neto in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albérico Neto in the 11th minute of play forced Vc Brye's goalkeeper Henri-Patrick De Mare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Vc Brye's goal looked a bit too open when Albérico Neto came free, but Henri-Patrick De Mare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Aguinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Sait Remzi came free, but Walmyr Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Vieri took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walmyr Queirós. Walmyr Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 29th minute, Sait Remzi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 31st minute, Albérico Neto made a precise shot to the right of Henri-Patrick De Mare. Vc Brye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cristian Vieri in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Walmyr Queirós, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristian Vieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Queirós having to interfere. When Albérico Neto came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Aguinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albérico Neto couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vc Brye's goalkeeper Henri-Patrick De Mare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sait Remzi made a kick off. Henri-Patrick De Mare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albérico Neto in the 56th minute of play. Aguinhas made a substitution. Mazarópi Orange replaced Paulo Renato Fernandez. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aguinhas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcio Lacorte was slow to take the kick. During this time Vc Brye's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabríel Vassaras in the 73rd minute of play forced Aguinhas's goalkeeper Walmyr Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmyr Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabríel Vassaras went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Vc Brye's Mariano Moya was substituted for Edwin Browald. Jardel de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Henri-Patrick De Mare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henri-Patrick De Mare made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Gilson Quadros sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geoffry Lefevre in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmyr Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walmyr Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabríel Vassaras's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Niels Vandamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vc Brye's Henri-Patrick De Mare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazarópi Orange in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Aguinhas got a corner. Vc Brye's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jardel de Lara ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Aguinhas's corner Jardel de Lara fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Henri-Patrick De Mare quite easily take care of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aguinhas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vc Brye.
