Walmyr Queirós was a little too slow when Hildeberto Carvalho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-1. 48 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's Burkhard Böck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmyr Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

After 92 minutes, Gabriel Gaufred mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ACF Fiorentina and the Aguinhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Aguinhas booed when ACF Fiorentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilson Quadros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Federico Kalinowski made a huge save. ACF Fiorentina's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
