Meder Muños might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremy Avellana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meder Muños ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremy Avellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meder Muños in the 25th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Salvino Masses managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gasteiz Latorre kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 36thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Intimos de Reynoso's keeper Ovidio Roland was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 39 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Gasteiz Latorre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Roland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute of the match Club Dep. Soc. Rodo got a corner. Intimos de Reynoso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gasteiz Latorre ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gasteiz Latorre made a great header on Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's corner, it was just that Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland managed to reach the ball for a save.
