The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Yuan Yuan got free with Matei Oltean in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matei Oltean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aras Görkem Kaymaz in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the game, FC aDeX's Martin Rana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Zajonc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Matei Oltean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Ramalho in the 18th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the game Franck Tkint made a throw-in which Xesus Barrieta played forward. 27 minutes into the match, Cai Yuan Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matei Oltean. FC aDeX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Yuan Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Matei Oltean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Cai Yuan Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matei Oltean. FC aDeX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Yuan Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Fénix's supporters rose to their feet, but Cai Yuan Yuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matei Oltean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rana in the 42nd minute of play. After 46 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Balsemão. In the 47th minute of the match Spiro Cocca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pankracy Zajonc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Rana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save MZ Fénix from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Pankracy Zajonc successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC aDeX's Franck Tkint quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tomasz Waldoch, made in the 55th minute of the game. In the 59th minute of the match FC aDeX got a corner. MZ Fénix's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Spiro Cocca ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesus Barrieta in the 64th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Rana in the 65th minute of the match. Cai Yuan Yuan took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matei Oltean. Matei Oltean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido was substituted for Vladimiro Granja. In the 74th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Oltean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute Cristinel Chinezu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zajonc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Franck Tkint in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido. In the 88th minute, FC aDeX's Martin Rana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-2. After 94 played minutes FC aDeX got a freekick which was hit by Franck Tkint. Cai Yuan Yuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Matei Oltean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MZ Fénix's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
