In the 10th minute Olcay Bozkurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barrie Kerridge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barrie Kerridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olcay Bozkurt in the 12th minute of the match. Sliema Dragons FC's Barrie Kerridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olcay Bozkurt in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Cupial came free, but Alexandros Iordanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Baran Erozan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandros Iordanidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Leszek Cupial could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Alexandros Iordanidis however easily saved by the left post. In the 39th minute, Leszek Cupial made a precise shot to the right of Alexandros Iordanidis. RO Army V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Alexandros Iordanidis was a little too slow when Kim Bolas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Junior in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barrie Kerridge saved Sliema Dragons FC from getting behind.

RO Army V55 made a substitution. Marcos Mazer replaced Demis Grigoriadis. RO Army V55's Giorgos Kalantas was substituted for Zhao Xun Jun. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kim Bolas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baran Erozan in the 54th managed to get into a good position. Baran Erozan was slow to take the kick. During this time Sliema Dragons FC's players had a chance to rest. Leszek Cupial made a great header on Sliema Dragons FC's corner, it was just that RO Army V55's Alexandros Iordanidis managed to reach the ball for a save. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by RO Army V55's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baran Erozan was slow to take the kick. During this time Sliema Dragons FC's players had a chance to rest. After 61 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Edinho de Queirós. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Edgardo Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. RO Army V55's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Ugutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barrie Kerridge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandros Iordanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baran Erozan in the 63rd minute of the match. Sliema Dragons FC's Barrie Kerridge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Sliema Dragons FC from getting a goal against them. Vinícius Junior really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. After a rather tough play, RO Army V55's Adrian Bumbescu got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Baran Erozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baran Erozan shot a long shot in the 95th minute and a light blocked Alexandros Iordanidis hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 4-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sliema Dragons FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while RO Army V55 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
