After a rather tough play, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Bernard Cytrynski got a free kick in the 29th minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Mehat Kovaçi took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Roch Grondzki to make any attempt to save it. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Driver in the 38th minute of the match. The SMOCZANKA MIELEC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roch Grondzki should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Bernard Cytrynski in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cougars FC's Bianco Natale. Cougars FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angel Morales in the 78th minute. Cougars FC's Angel Morales was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roch Grondzki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steffen Gimlinge in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roch Grondzki saved SMOCZANKA MIELEC from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the SMOCZANKA MIELEC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cougars FC.
