GERLIROJO Ψ's Genaro Tauro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Tauro in the 15th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Mehat Kovaçi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres Lastur. GERLIROJO Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehat Kovaçi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Mehat Kovaçi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Andres Lastur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andres Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cougars FC's zone, Martin Jax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoud de Pelsmakere came out of the goal and Martin Jax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Jax. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Jax stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Cougars FC got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Natale. If Martin Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Jax in the 62nd minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Jax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez was substituted for Martin Jax. Andres Lastur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 75th minute. Cougars FC's Steffen Gimlinge was substituted for Mehat Kovaçi. After 78 minutes GERLIROJO Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angel Morales who took care of the corner kick. Steffen Gimlinge's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Andres Lastur skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 81st match minute, GERLIROJO Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Vilanova to maneuver through the defense. Cougars FC's attentive Jannic De Vreese managed to snatch the ball when Iwan Rawa made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 87thth minute of the game Epifanio Ibañez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Epifanio Ibañez put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Arnoud de Pelsmakere. Andres Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Gimlinge in the 90th minute of the match. Andres Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffen Gimlinge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Salomon kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Nicolas Salomon hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Cougars FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
