SRP-Laguna's Emirşah Öktemer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Slawomir Fujara in the 17 minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goalkeeper Gottfrid Hedström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emirşah Öktemer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bogren in the 21st minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Anderson Laguna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Ertan Duman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anderson Laguna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anderson Laguna came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Ertan Duman. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Anderson Laguna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ertan Duman's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Xu Le Shu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gottfrid Hedström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timos Kakavetsis to maneuver through the defense. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ made a substitution. Cao Jun Yan replaced Fotis Theofilopoulos. In the 72nd minute, Timos Kakavetsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SRP-Laguna's Isaltino Veloso was substituted for Vânderson Penha.
