Cristiano Lage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andries De Putter, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 4th play minutes Andries De Putter shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Cristiano Lage and just under the crossbar into goal. Andries De Putter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minuim SS's goalkeeper Cristiano Lage, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristiano Lage made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Higinio Arraz sent off a good shot on target. The AFC United fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when AFC United's Higinio Arraz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mikail Yerhum took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lei Bin. Lei Bin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Leo Ponzio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of AFC United booed when Minuim SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikail Yerhum didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andries De Putter in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Lage saved Minuim SS from getting behind. Aimar Alajaan's late challenge caught a AFC United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aimar Alajaan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Minuim SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aimar Alajaan to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cristiano Lage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Arraz in the 52nd minute of the match. Higinio Arraz took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Lage. Cristiano Lage dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Lei Bin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikail Yerhum in the 56th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Leo Ponzio in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFC United's Vintilă Arnăutu. Cristiano Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, AFC United's Higinio Arraz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Lage narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AFC United made a substitution. Faustino Asprilla replaced Higinio Arraz. AFC United's Şenel Volkan was substituted for Andries De Putter. In the 67th minute of the match AFC United got a corner. Minuim SS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jordi Scherz ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minuim SS's goalkeeper Cristiano Lage, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Minuim SS's Frank Rodrigues was substituted for Marko Krumov. Minuim SS made a substitution. Luisinho Linhares replaced Juninho Reis. Cristiano Lage came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Faustino Asprilla. But to his dismay, Faustino Asprilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Lei Bin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikail Yerhum in the 84th minute of play. Mikail Yerhum took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lei Bin. Lei Bin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. A collision led to Minuim SS getting a freekick after 90 minutes play.
