A hard shot by Leevi Kampman from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Olimpiu Târlea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Olimpiu Târlea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ksawery Tyszka in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Olimpiu Târlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match, Ladislao Gines got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olimpiu Târlea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Ladislao Gines put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Olimpiu Târlea. Jude Crocker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Tărău in the 31st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ladislao Gines sped through A4p FC Gad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olimpiu Târlea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Tyszka in the 44th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Olimpiu Târlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Creekers's Jude Crocker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Tărău in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petru Tărău to make the kick off. Remus Chițes's late challenge caught a Creekers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remus Chițes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute of the match Leevi Kampman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olimpiu Târlea skillfully saved the ball. Olimpiu Târlea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Grigoroiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jude Crocker made a huge save. The supporters of Creekers booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Grigoroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Lucrețiu Nastac replaced Octavian Odobescu. Creekers's Reynaldo Driscoll was substituted for Ladislao Gines. When Creekers's Riley Trotter, in the 83rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Creekers. 85 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Olimpiu Târlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
