Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save A.C. Patagonia from getting a goal against them. A collision led to A.C. Patagonia getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Rui Costa hit a great ball. Peter Schmeichel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionel Mirea in the 8th minute. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uwe Birmes in the 10th minute of play. Peter Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuralp Akbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Pagos FC got a corner. A.C. Patagonia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francisco Montae ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uwe Birmes in the 14th minute of the match. Dariusz Wos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Campens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Uwe Birmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pagos FC's zone, Dariusz Wos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Campens came out of the goal and Dariusz Wos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dariusz Wos in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Campens saved Pagos FC from getting behind. The corner ended in Szymon Jaszyna almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pagos FC's Manuel Campens did a great save. In the 32nd minute Dariusz Wos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Campens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Nuralp Akbal came free, but Peter Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Bruno Faccio put in a rough tackle. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Camillo Terrasi replaced Ludwig Wassenius. In the 41st minute, one of A.C. Patagonia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A.C. Patagonia. Nuralp Akbal placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 45th minute, Carlos Augusto Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuralp Akbal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Nuralp Akbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pagos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuralp Akbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Mircea Teodor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szymon Jaszyna struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Manuel Campens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. Patagonia. The supporters of A.C. Patagonia booed when Pagos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uwe Birmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uwe Birmes in the 62nd minute of play. Peter Schmeichel came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Pagos FC's Uwe Birmes. But to his dismay, Uwe Birmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Pagos FC's Christos Bartzokas was substituted for Nuralp Akbal. A.C. Patagonia's Gustav Siöman got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Mjölnir Martelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Campens came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Patagonia's Gustav Siöman. But to his dismay, Gustav Siöman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rui Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Manuel Campens made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustav Siöman in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Campens saved Pagos FC from getting behind. When Gustav Siöman fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C. Patagonia's protests and gave Gustav Siöman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to A.C. Patagonia getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gustav Siöman hit a great ball. Peter Schmeichel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Bartzokas's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Manuel Campens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Siöman in the 90th minute of play.
