An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Bosch in the 3rd minute of play forced Manisa United's goalkeeper Bülent Turay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Franco Bosch sped through Manisa United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bülent Turay. After having played for 19 minutes, Nicollao Narbona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicollao Narbona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manisa United's Bülent Turay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Bosch in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manisa United's zone, Franco Bosch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bülent Turay came out of the goal and Franco Bosch tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 37thth minute of the game Franco Bosch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manisa United's Bülent Turay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franco Bosch scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bülent Turay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hayrettin Tekrim in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermengol Baena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bülent Turay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bob Morley went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Bülent Turay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Bosch in the 61st minute of play. Bülent Turay stood somewhat misplaced when Franco Bosch came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 61 minute. 68 minutes into the match, Franco Bosch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bülent Turay. Manisa United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franco Bosch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Ermengol Baena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayrettin Tekrim in the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Manisa United getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Hayrettin Tekrim hit a great ball. Franco Bosch might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bülent Turay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Bosch ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Manisa United defense, Franco Bosch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bülent Turay. The Manisa United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bülent Turay should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Numan Taykoç came free, but Ermengol Baena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Manisa United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
