Nibiru X's attentive Godofredo Bombal managed to snatch the ball when Çağlar Acabey made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. 7 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro De Gavardo came free, but Sonny Alén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Dario Osorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Isidro De Gavardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sonny Alén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Darío Friederichs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nafiz Özilter in the 15th minute of play. Ahmet Nafiz Özilter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Darío Friederichs came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Nafiz Özilter slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. Darío Friederichs made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Kamil Momodu sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamil Momodu got free with Darío Friederichs in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darío Friederichs having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Nibiru X's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Dracena came free, but Darío Friederichs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonny Alén came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Nibiru X's Isidro De Gavardo. But to his dismay, Isidro De Gavardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 38 minutes of play, Nibiru X's Isidro De Gavardo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Alén was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sonny Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro De Gavardo in the 40th minute of the match. Darío Friederichs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Nibiru X were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidro De Gavardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Darío Friederichs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Dracena in the 50th minute of play. Sonny Alén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro De Gavardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Caviedes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Sonny Alén skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bornova's Sonny Alén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Bornova from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Caviedes in the 73rd minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Sonny Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nibiru X's Darío Friederichs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Nafiz Özilter in the 77th minute of play. Sonny Alén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Armando Faine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Nafiz Özilter in the 82nd minute of play forced Nibiru X's goalkeeper Darío Friederichs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godofredo Bombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Alén having to interfere. Sonny Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Román Grebe in the 90th minute of play. If Fabio Caviedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Caviedes took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sonny Alén. Sonny Alén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Nibiru X's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
