Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kamil Momodu kicked off to start the match. Ivo Basay's late challenge caught a Bornova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo Basay helped the player get up and apologised. Ivo Basay kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Yusuf Bahadır Rahmet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eladio Escalona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Kamil Momodu came free, but Eladio Escalona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colo-Colo's Eladio Escalona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yusuf Bahadır Rahmet in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Ivo Basay made a precise shot to the right of Sonny Alén. Bornova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Eladio Escalona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24th play minutes Ahmet Nafiz Özilter shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Eladio Escalona and just under the crossbar into goal. 31 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Dracena came free, but Eladio Escalona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Dracena scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eladio Escalona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eladio Escalona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorio Droguett kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After the first half Bornova were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Şafak Taze was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. Bornova made a substitution. Hüseyin Rahmi Ortaçgil replaced Fernando Dracena. In the 52nd minute, one of Bornova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bornova. Sonny Alén went to the wrong direction when Honorio Droguett was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Eladio Escalona made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ahmet Nafiz Özilter sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nafiz Özilter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eladio Escalona, 1-3. In the 66th match minute, Bornova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Bahadır Rahmet to maneuver through the defense. Colo-Colo made a substitution. Rubén Martínez replaced Ivo Basay. The supporters of Colo-Colo booed when Bornova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusuf Bahadır Rahmet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Honorio Droguett shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sonny Alén showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eladio Escalona made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Beyhan Oğuztüzün sent off a good shot on target. Sonny Alén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlitos Caszely's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Sonny Alén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubén Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Martínez came free, but Sonny Alén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Colo-Colo's Carlitos Caszely made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Alén was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sonny Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubén Martínez in the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, Colo-Colo's Eladio Escalona got control of the ball when Kamil Momodu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Colo-Colo's Rubén Martínez in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bornova's goalie prevented a goal. After 87 minutes, Rubén Martínez made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Bornova's Sonny Alén tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubén Martínez in the 90th minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Sonny Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Martínez came free, but Sonny Alén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonny Alén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubén Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Sonny Alén came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Colo-Colo's Rubén Martínez. But to his dismay, Rubén Martínez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Colo-Colo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bornova for a fine match.
