Pascual Demario yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bairoletto FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celestino Toro was slow to take the kick. During this time San Lorenzo's players had a chance to rest. Celestino Toro made a great header on San Lorenzo's corner, it was just that Bairoletto FC's Pascual Demario managed to reach the ball for a save. Arnaldo Bide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Pascual Demario made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Celestino Toro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Demario was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After having played for 30 minutes, Rolando Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bairoletto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Asur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Celedonio Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Maties in the 38th minute of play. Rolando Asur charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Asur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
