The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when Bairoletto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Magdaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placido Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Astor Huly. Pascual Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Oalo in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Oalo in the 27th minute of play forced Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Pascual Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Fidele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Maties in the 36th minute of play. Filiberto Fidele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Maties came free, but Filiberto Fidele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
