When the match had been going on for 3 minutes, Snorlax FC's Szczepan Mazierz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anier Oidor. Mario Jesus Allu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Anier Oidor made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Jesus Allu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Freddy Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor got control of the ball when Szczepan Mazierz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anier Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Jesus Allu in the 21st minute of play. Celedonio Cordareo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celedonio Cordareo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Mario Jesus Allu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Oidor was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Freddy Izel hit a great ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Snorlax FC reached it. A well-hit corner resulted in Edgard Elia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Jesus Allu in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jose Manuel Hernández kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, San Lorenzo's Celestino Toro tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Aldana came free, but Anier Oidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Toro's late challenge caught a Snorlax FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Toro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Toro to maneuver through the defense. Szczepan Mazierz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anier Oidor. San Lorenzo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anier Oidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szczepan Mazierz in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Jesus Allu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Szczepan Mazierz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anier Oidor skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Mario Jesus Allu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Oidor was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Anier Oidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Jesus Allu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tibalt Bruna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Anier Oidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute of the match Felipe Soto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anier Oidor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Mario Jesus Allu put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Anier Oidor. Anier Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leobardo Riera in the 72nd minute of play. Anier Oidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Jesus Allu in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Leobardo Riera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anier Oidor. San Lorenzo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leobardo Riera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Arnaldo Bide kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Leobardo Riera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Oidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Aldana in the 82nd minute of the match. Leobardo Riera struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Anier Oidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Snorlax FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Jesus Allu in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Oidor saved San Lorenzo from getting behind. In the 91st minute Leobardo Riera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Oidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Leobardo Riera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Snorlax FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Snorlax FC's Florencio Rojas was substituted for Mark Aldana.
