Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Miguel Santiago got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Sporting Clube Patrício was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliano Simões to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Garanhão do SUL's Tarcísio Palha tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Albano Leizarraga scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Almiro Setúbal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sporting Clube Patrício's Miguel Santiago got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tarcísio Palha's late challenge caught a Sporting Clube Patrício's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarcísio Palha helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tarcísio Palha hit a great ball. Heitor Peseiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Santiago's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Miguel Santiago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Heitor Peseiro made a huge save. In the 24th minute, André Roriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Miguel Santiago notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Garanhão do SUL's Heitor Peseiro. Heitor Peseiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 minutes Sporting Clube Patrício's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tarcísio Palha who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tarcísio Palha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Clube Patrício's Almiro Setúbal did a great save. Sporting Clube Patrício's Almiro Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Leizarraga in the 40th minute of play. Almiro Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Vale in the 42nd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albano Leizarraga made a kick off. Almiro Setúbal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexandre Vale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 51 minute of play. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. António Gama replaced André Roriz. Garanhão do SUL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tarcísio Palha in the 59th minute. Tarcísio Palha made a great header on Garanhão do SUL's corner, it was just that Sporting Clube Patrício's Almiro Setúbal managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 60th minute, Miguel Santiago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Albano Leizarraga took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Almiro Setúbal. Almiro Setúbal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Obafemi Fabiani replaced Albano Leizarraga. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Benigno Jesco hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the match Miguel Santiago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heitor Peseiro skillfully saved the ball. Almiro Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Almiro Setúbal made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Obafemi Fabiani sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 81 minutes, António Gama managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garanhão do SUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Gama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Cortez during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sandro Cortez hit a great ball. The long shot by Abel Lameirinhas in the 84th minute really tested Almiro Setúbal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Obafemi Fabiani scored 2-4 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Almiro Setúbal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. António Gama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almiro Setúbal having to interfere. Almiro Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Garanhão do SUL players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
