Jan Pihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Osasun in the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Osasun in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Pihlberg saved Preator Edikt from getting behind. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Benicio Osasun sped through Preator Edikt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan Pihlberg. Martin Videl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jan Pihlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Retorno de Palermo's Jerom Quvelirs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save El Retorno de Palermo from getting a goal against them. Benicio Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Pihlberg having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horia Tătaru got free with Jerom Quvelirs in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horia Tătarus short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Jerom Quvelirs to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Horia Tătaru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerom Quvelirs. That made the score 4-1 in the 41 minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerom Quvelirs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 52nd minute of the match Preator Edikt got a corner. El Retorno de Palermo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fellipe Vianna ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fellipe Vianna made a great header on Preator Edikt's corner, it was just that El Retorno de Palermo's Jerom Quvelirs managed to reach the ball for a save. Jan Pihlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zygmunt Malik hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Fellipe Vianna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerom Quvelirs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Horia Tătaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan Pihlberg firmly grabbed it by the left post.
