Vicky Donda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evtim Kúrdzhev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Forsyth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Ugutz's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Ugutz in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Cassaretto was the one to do the kick off. Delmiro Emeterio made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Paulo Renato Corrêa. In the 54th minute Enrique Cassaretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute Casimiro Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Ugutz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Forsyth having to make a save. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Ugutz in the 75th minute of the match. Delmiro Emeterio hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. CD Municipal made a substitution. Oliver Ramon replaced Evtim Kúrdzhev.
