George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian Pay in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Habsburgo's goalkeeper Honorato Aznaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Honorato Aznaro, 1-0. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Habsburgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aiakos Vardakas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Enrique Cassaretto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Municipal and the Habsburgo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enrique Cassaretto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes Habsburgo got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Hârșu. Enrique Cassaretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Honorato Aznaro made a huge save. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mosen Colillas hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willian Pay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Călin Morovan in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Habsburgo's Aiakos Vardakas. Habsburgo's Willian Pay got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Habsburgo's Sebastian Froylan was substituted for Willian Pay. Habsburgo's Herberts Dreizis was substituted for Emanuel Hârșu. Habsburgo's Levent Itzov was substituted for Saverio Lehoi. In the 60th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Cassaretto to maneuver through the defense. George Forsyth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Froylan in the 62nd minute. CD Municipal's Tulio Andinyach got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi was substituted for Edelmiro Moise. CD Municipal's Aureliano Buendia was substituted for Tulio Andinyach. CD Municipal's Gunnar Ekrot was substituted for Zlatan Molina. CD Municipal's George Forsyth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save CD Municipal from getting a goal against them. After 74 minutes, Levent Itzov made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. CD Municipal's George Forsyth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
