After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Humberto Suazo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Suazo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute of the match ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ got a corner. Stellenbosch's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guilherme Ramos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 9 played minutes ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ got a freekick which was hit by Hartmut Propst. The crowd rose to their feet as ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Humberto Suazo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Pelayo. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's attentive Ruy Nunes managed to snatch the ball when Jesus Ofelio made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the game, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Humberto Suazo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Pelayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Stellenbosch's Jesus Ofelio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ruy Nunes in the 21 minute of the game. After 22 minutes of play, Stellenbosch's Fidel Martxelin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Humberto Suazo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Pelayo. That made the score 3-1 after 25 minutes of play. Pedro Pelayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Suazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Stellenbosch's goalkeeper Pedro Pelayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Suazo. 38 minutes into the match, Fidel Martxelin notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Nicolas Britto. Nicolas Britto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Suazo in the 44th minute of play forced Stellenbosch's goalkeeper Pedro Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Pelayo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Humberto Suazo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-2 in the 47 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flóki Cabezudo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Humberto Suazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Stellenbosch's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Suazo came free, but Pedro Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Suazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Stellenbosch got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Ofelio. Stellenbosch's Mao Zhen was substituted for Luca Savini. Stellenbosch made a substitution. Octavio Lluis replaced Fidel Martxelin. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Cody Miles was substituted for Rubens Esteves. Stellenbosch's Laureano Gora was substituted for Gerke Krupp. Jesus Ofelio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Stellenbosch's Pedro Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cody Miles in the 71st minute of play. Pedro Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Ramos in the 73rd minute of the match. Pedro Pelayo came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Armando Petrosino. But to his dismay, Armando Petrosino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. In the 79th minute, Mao Zhen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stellenbosch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-3. 82 minutes into the match, Stellenbosch's goal looked a bit too open when Ranolfo Piedrahita came free, but Pedro Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Ranolfo Piedrahita in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stellenbosch's goalie prevented a goal. 87 minutes into the game, Laureano Gora recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicolas Britto. Laureano Gora showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 9-4. After 92 played minutes Stellenbosch got a freekick which was hit by Juan Fernando Quinteros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Petrosino in the 94th minute of play forced Stellenbosch's goalkeeper Pedro Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes in the game, Armando Petrosino dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ had played much better football throughout.
