In the 3rd minute, Downchester City's Ismael Marques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernt Alsaker. Bernt Alsaker yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Downchester City's Ismael Marques was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 6th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 8 minutes, Ray Man mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsnes and the Downchester City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ray Man kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Jamar Paige shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Alsaker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Alnes in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xepe Gandia saved Downchester City from getting behind. Xepe Gandia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Alnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Vie in the 19th minute of play forced Downchester City's goalkeeper Xepe Gandia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Vie in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xepe Gandia saved Downchester City from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's John-Einar Bøen got a free kick in the 29th minute. Sergio Rodríguez kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Roman Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xepe Gandia was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After 32 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Vie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Man in the 37th minute of play forced Downchester City's goalkeeper Xepe Gandia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Javi Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Downchester City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javi Sanchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Kim Alnes made the kick off in the second half. After 53rd play minutes Roman Bide shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Xepe Gandia and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Vie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xepe Gandia was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Bernt Alsaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javi Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Åsnes's Petter Vartdal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Petter Vartdal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Åsnes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Petter Vartdal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Petter Vartdal kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Jon-Inge Nysæter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernt Alsaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincente Serrano, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of Åsnes booed when Downchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Yeste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kim Alnes hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Xepe Gandia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Vie, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Vie came free, but Xepe Gandia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Vie in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xepe Gandia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 83 minutes, Xantalen Mas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Downchester City and the Åsnes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Åsnes. Jonathan Vie stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Xepe Gandia. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Aceves in the 87th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Bernt Alsaker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åsnes's Bernt Alsaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamar Paige in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
