After having played for 11 minutes, Leonardo Paio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Franja Dorada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Paio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Vogrinčič in the 13th minute of play. Playa Malvín's Erasto Quizan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Paio in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Paio came free, but Erasto Quizan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Venancio Hodei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Playa Malvín were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Franja Dorada's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberino Riesco took the corner. After taking down the ball on Playa Malvín's corner Alberino Riesco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Venancio Hodei quite easily take care of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Franja Dorada's Urbano Sagrario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasto Quizan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Playa Malvín's attentive Efren Domao managed to snatch the ball when Lisandro Remicio made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. If Urbano Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Franja Dorada from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Enzo Vogrinčič notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei. Venancio Hodei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Godofredo Maysonet's late challenge caught a Franja Dorada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Maysonet helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Franja Dorada booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Maysonet didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urbano Sagrario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Leonardo Paio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Malvín's Erasto Quizan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Patricio Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasto Quizan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Franja Dorada defense, Enzo Vogrinčič kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venancio Hodei. The Franja Dorada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venancio Hodei should have stopped the shot. After 70 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Efren Domao. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Rodas Para replaced Godofredo Maysonet. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Efren Domao hit a great ball. A collision led to Franja Dorada getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Florentino Rito hit a great ball. Urbano Sagrario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasto Quizan having to make a save. Venancio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Teijelo in the 78th minute of play. Lisandro Remicio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Venancio Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Vogrinčič in the 96th minute of the match. Franja Dorada's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
